Gefco Austria has opened a workshop to refurbish used cars on its finished vehicle logistics (FVL) compound in Vienna.
To service mobility players in the used car market, Gefco’s workshop provides customers with a range of refurbishment services such as inspection and appraisals, imaging, repair, valeting and maintenance operations.

The workshop is an addition to the Group’s FVL service offer including multimodal transport, inbound automotive solutions, sequencing services, post-production operations (PPO), pre-delivery inspection (PDI) storage, handling, preparation and vehicles customisation.
“The demand for vehicle refurbishment services is increasing and I’m proud of our senior experts who are managing these new services,” said Gefco DACH (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) GM, Frank Erhartdt.
“The Vienna compound is now equipped to offer customers full automotive services and a seamless supply chain experience.”
Gefco is the largest supplier of finished vehicle logistics services in the region.
