GAC has launched its latest flagship MPV, the M8, in Kuwait. It says the new generation model is set to ‘redefine luxury and comfort for businesses and large families in the region’.
GAC said one of the M8’s most notable attributes is its “Awakening Eye” LED headlights, which include height adjustment and a follow-me-home function. The “Time Gate” LED taillights provide a distinctive rear presence, while the “Lion-like” front grille and “Diamond-cut” side waistlines give the vehicle a commanding and elegant appearance, the company said.

The M8 is equipped with an electromagnetic suspension system (SDC) that adjusts damping forces in real-time, which GAC claims provides a smooth ride over various road conditions to enhance handling and passenger comfort.
The M8 comes with a ‘360° all-round airbag matrix’ that includes a rear windscreen airbag, a claimed first in the MPV class. This feature, along with others like the door open warning (DOW) system and L2 self-driving assistance, positions the M8 as a leader in passenger protection, GAC claims.
Following the Kuwait launch, GAC plans to introduce the M8 in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
