Valeo said on Thursday it would build a centre in Wuhan in China to develop advanced automotive lighting systems for Chinese and European car markets, and to expand in the region, Reuters reported.

Up to 120 engineers and technicians eventually would be able to work in the centre, a €1.5 million investment, Reuters said, adding that completion is scheduled in 2004.
