Carlos Tavares has been appointed chairman of the Peugeot SA managing board, effective 31 March 2014, as announced on 19 February.
The board also includes Jean-Baptiste de Chatillon, Grégoire Olivier and Jean-Christophe Quémard.

The supervisory board commended the work of outgoing head Philippe Varin who, it said “in particularly difficult circumstances, helped to lay the foundations for PSA Peugeot Citroën’s recovery”.
From today, 1 April 2014, Philippe Varin will serve as group temporary advisor to support implementation of the agreements signed with the French state and Dongfeng Motor Group.
