AFP reports that Renault said Thursday it was recalling 230,000 Laguna models worldwide because of a potential fault in the electronic anti-lock braking and traction control systems. The warning follows a previous recall issued for the same model Monday due to fuel-injection faults on around 110,000 units.

Renault and certain suppliers will pay for the recall, a spokesman said, according to AFP.
AFP said that the latest recall affects models produced between July 18 2001 and May 15 2002 and concerns a risk of water infiltration and subsequent paralysis of electronics controlling the brakes or traction control system.
No braking incidents have been reported, the company said.
