Renault has announced a series of plant slowdowns later this month in the face of falling demand.
The company’s plant in the northern city of Douai, which makes the Scenic compact MPV, will close from 26 October to 1 November. Renault added that other sites will close from 29 October to 1 November.
PSA Peugeot Citroen announced in September that some of its French plants would face partial shutdowns this month and is also slowing output outside its home country.
