The Capture has similarities with alliance partner Nissan’s Juke crossover.
BFM said the Clio would also be offered in wagon plus three- and five-door hatchback versions.
A new generation Clio is due for launch in 2012 and will be produced at Flins near Paris as well as in Turkey.
