Renault is remaining coy surrounding reports it could dispose of its 20% stake in Volvo Trucks.
Media speculation had reported the French automaker as mulling a potential sale, but Renault is remaining tight-lipped as to the possibility.

“Our position has not really changed,” a Renault spokeswoman in Paris told just-auto, although she conceded “lots of things are possible.
“Today we have free cash flow and it [sale] is not on the agenda. In the short term it is not our [intention] to sell our 20% share of Volvo. In the long term, everything is possible.”
The speculation comes as Volvo Trucks said today (15 September) its global August deliveries were 100% higher than in the corresponding month last year.
A statement from Volvo Trucks said: “In response to increasing demand, production is being gradually ramped up in both the European and North American plants.”
