Renault’s latest Espace has updated exterior and interior styling, cornering lights, a new navigation and communication system and new two-litre diesel engine options, among other changes.
The new 2.0 dCi turbodiesels come with 150hp and 175hp outputs and both have particulate filters to comply with the latest, stringent Euro IV emission laws.
Renault has also introduced a new six-speed automatic transmission to go with the carry-over 3.0dCi V6 diesel engine.
The revised range offers buyers a choice of three petrol and four diesel powerplants, with standard five-speed manual or optional six- speed automatic (dubbed Proactive’) transmissions.
The revised Carminat navigation/communication system combines voice synthesis with a three-dimensional display on a seven-inch screen integrated into a restyled dashboard.
Bluetooth technology for hands-free mobile phones and CD/MP3-compatible audio systems are also now available.
