PSA Peugeot Citroen has said it will cut the number of media buying agencies it works with in Europe to two to reduce costs.
Peugeot said in a statement that it would keep France’s Havas and its MPG network, and OMD, which is part of US advertising group Ommicom.
“This decision will further reduce the cost of media buying within the organisation… without compromising advertising visibility for the brands Citroen and Peugeot,” the company said.
Peugeot also said it would launch a tender on Tuesday limited to Havas and OMD for media buying in Croatia, Italy and Poland.
