The Aucjel site has been blocked since 5 March after the PSA controlled parts group announced plans to close the loss-making factory by the end of next year.
Local reports said Faurecia offered workers EUR800 each to resume work on Monday but this was rejected.
Production at Auchel had declined as automaker customers reduced orders due to the credit crunch.
