Jérôme Olive will be nominated as a board director and as managing director of Dacia at Renault’s annual meeting on 26 November. He will replace François Fourmont, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Olive is an engineer who joined Renault’s Sandouville plant in 1982. He was involved in the R25 and R21 vehicle
projects, occupying various posts concerned with the reliability of procedures and maintenance. In 1985
he joined the SBFM as investments and maintenance manager, then as production director.
In 1996 he moved to Renault Douai for the start-up of Scenic 1, working as head of the body-in-white assembly
separtment. In 1999 he became deputy director in charge of manufacturing, and was appointed director
of the plant early in 2004.
