FRANCE: Nissan’s Ghosn upbeat on Nissan’s 2003 prospects
Nissan president Carlos Ghosn has said in an interview with French business daily La Tribune that Nissan expects stronger sales this year than in a decade. Ghosn said he sees 2003 as a "year of strong growth for Nissan."
Nissan president Carlos Ghosn has said in an interview with French business daily La Tribune that the company expects stronger sales this year than in a decade. Ghosn said he sees 2003 as a “year of strong growth for Nissan.”
He also said the company expects to sell more than three million cars in 2003 for the first time in a decade. He expects to see Nissan’s debt level reduced as a result.
Earlier this week, Ghosn said the war in Iraq meant demand for cars in the United States and Europe in fiscal 2003-04 could be lower than previously thought.
