Nissan Europe reported sales of 42,950 vehicles in November 2006, up 25.3% year on year. But year to date sales were off 3.5% to 490,719 units.

Nissan in France sales rose 25.6% to 3,499 units in November but YTD volume was off 7.8% to 41,250.


Germany sales rose 65.5% last month to 6,115 units in Novemberand YTD volume, 52,898, was up 5.6%.


Italian sales of 3,462 units were up 18.4% last month. YTD sales fell 9.6% to 46,478.


Nissan Spain sales rose 3.8% to 5,376 units in November but YTD volume was off 13.2% at 56,730.


UK sales fell 14.8% to 4,897 units last month and YTD volume was off 16.3% to 82,651 units.



Better news in Russia: Nissan sales rose 59.1% to 7,319 units last month and, YTD, were up 60.8% to 66,781.


Nissan has launched the Note mini-minivan this year and recently ended UK production of the Almera hatchback and sedan line, replacing it with a new small SUV called Qashqai.
