Valeo says that the creation of the role of Chief Operating Officer will encourage transversal synergies across the twelve Industrial Branches of Valeo and facilitate the development of the group’s ‘Domain’ strategy aimed at developing solutions for vehicles that are safer, more comfortable and with reduced fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

The twelve Industrial Branch Vice Presidents will report to Bleriot.  Bleriot has spent 12 years with Valeo, most recently as Senior Group Vice President for the Electrical and Electronics Activity.

Gold’s role as Group Technical Senior Vice President is a newly created one which regroups the group functions of Industrial, Quality, Purchasing and Information Systems.  In order to build on the significant progress Valeo has made over the past three years in cost competitiveness and quality these functions need to work more closely together.
