Bloomberg News reports that PSA Peugeot Citroen unions have agreed to an average 2% pay raise for French employees and bonuses depending on first-half car sales.

Five of the six unions at Peugeot’s French plants, representing 78% of employees, signed the accord. Only the CGT, the biggest union at Europe’s No. 2 carmaker where it represents 22% of the workforce, refused as it opposed bonuses based on performance, Bloomberg said.
The agreement with French unions comes after workers at Peugeot’s Ryton, England, factory voted this week to strike over pay, Bloomberg noted.
