Mazda Motor Corporation will reveal the all-new Mazda2 at the 102nd Paris Auto Show on 26 September. The Mazda2 will go into production at the Valencia Plant in Spain at the beginning of 2003 as Mazda’s first model built in Europe.

The Mazda2 is the second of Mazda’s new generation products and the vehicle was launched in the Japanese market on 7 August with the name of Demio.
The Mazda2 is scheduled to go into production at Ford’s Valencia, Spain, plant at the beginning of 2003. It shares platform with Ford’s Fiesta (B256).
