Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot Citroen have denied a Financial Times report, which stated that the companies are planning to merge, Reuters said.

The report said merger talks between the two companies that were held earlier in 2014 were expected to resume.

Fiat Chrysler denied having any such discussions with PSA, while the latter’s spokesman said, “PSA categorically denies every aspect of the FT report on a merger with Fiat.”
