New car sales in France fell 13.1% in February from last year according to data released by French carmakers’ association, the CCFA.
 
Car sales in February fell to 152,154. The CCFA said the year-on-year decline was 8.8% after adjusting for working days during the month compared with the same month last year.
 
Sales by French makers (Renault plus PSA) fell 13.3% percent in February with share unchanged versus last year at 55.5%. GM’s Opel brand was off by 35% on last year while the Ford marque was down by just 2.9%.
