Ford workers at the Kansas City Assembly Plant have celebrated producing one million Transit vans in North America since production began in 2014.
The automaker said the Transit is America’s best-selling van and claimed 42 years of commercial van leadership.

The plant will also produce the blue oval’s first US market all-electric van, the E-Transit, later this year.
The one millionth Transit came off the line on 29 June.
It is an ingot silver, high-roof, extended wheelbase cargo van with rear-wheel drive ordered by a dealer in California.
