Valmet says Esko Harila has been appointed CFO for Valmet Automotive Group, after previously holding positions with Rautaruukki Oyj and Fortaco.

At Rautaruukki, Harila was business controller and VP, finance and control.

In Fortaco Group, a manufacturing partner for the engineering industry, he worked as interim CEO and moves to Valmet Automotive from the position as Fortaco’s CFO.

Harila will start at Valmet Automotive on 11 August this year, while current CFO, Olli-Pekka Vanhanen will move to another, unspecified, company from 1 August.

Harila will be a member of the Valmet Automotive Management Board and will report to president Ilpo Korhonen.
