Cars alone grew: up 5.3% to 80,836 from 76,780. Declines registered:
22.2% for buses to 3,553 from 4,569; 21.4% for trucks to 12,070 from 15,360;
and 10.3% for trolley buses to 26 from 29.

Year-to-date, production increased 1.0% for all vehicles to
501,348 in 2001 from 496,487 in 2000. Volume expanded only for cars –
3.9% to 413,162 from 397,673. Contractions totalled: 11.1% for trucks to 68,797
from 77,424; 9.4% for buses to 19,224 from 21,222; and 1.8% for trolley buses
to 165 from 168.

In 2000 versus 1999, vehicle production increased 2.2% to 1,209,782
from 1,183,217. Each sector posted gains: 8.0% for buses to 53,761 from 49,782;
6.8% for trolley buses to 393 from 368; 4.3% for trucks to 186,673 from 179,047;
and 1.6% for cars to 968,955 from 954,020.
