Group Lotus has told just-auto that the firm will not be attending September’s Paris motor show. Further, the company says it is undertaking a review of all promotional activity.
In response to rumours which have been circulating in recent days, an emailed reply to just-auto states, “Group Lotus has announced that it is undertaking a review of all marketing and promotional activity as part of a plan to refocus the Norfolk-based car company. As part of this review, Group Lotus has decided that Lotus will not attend this year’s Paris Motor Show.”

“Our parent company DRB-HICOM have invested new funds. We are working on a number of new developments which require funding and that must be the priority. This company will only have a bright future if the innovation culture is encouraged,” the company statement adds.
