exported 115,000 Brazilian-made vehicles last year, an increase of 117 percent

Receipts of $US1 billion from cars dispatched to 31 countries made Volkswagen
of Brazil the country’s leading vehicle exporter. Mexico alone accounted
for 73,765 units or 64 percent.
