exported 115,000 Brazilian-made vehicles last year, an increase of 117 percent

of Brazil the countrys leading vehicle exporter. Mexico alone accounted
for 73,765 units or 64 percent.

The Gol is the most popular export model. Last year VW shipped 49,396 units
of the car that has also topped Brazilian sales charts for 14 years.
