Vehicles
sales in Brazil decreased 8.3 percent in January, according to Anfavea (Brazilian’s
National Automakers’s Association), reports Rogério Louro Alves.

In December, automakers sold 132,156 cars, but last month they moved only 121,201
units.

Vehicle exports also fell from 34,400 in December to 20,800 vehicles last month,
a decrease of 39.5%.

January vehicle production was down 6.1 percent to 119,222 cars from 126,916
in December.
