Mexico was Ford Brazil’s biggest market in 2001, taking 60 percent of exports mostly in the form of the Ka subcompact and the Courier pickup which is based on an older model Fiesta. Mexico also imports Brazilian engines.

Ford do Brasil also sold vehicles and components to the Mercosur countries, Chile, Venezuela, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, the United States and Colombia.

Ford’s Brazilian outpost is the only one in the world making right hand drive F Series pick-ups which are exported to New Zealand and Australia.
