The French car maker retained its leadership of the Argentine market last month and took 26.7 percent of the 13,693 sales, the best monthly result since it began direct distribution in 1975.

Renault cars were built in Argentina from 1960 to 1975 by Industrias Kaiser Argentina.

Today Renault produces the Megane, Kangoo and Clio in its own Santa Isabel plant.
