A Danish importer is taking over Peugeot distribution in Latvia.
KW Bruun Import, the long-standing Peugeot importer in Denmark, Sweden and Iceland, which also took over the brand in Estonia last year, is to handle the Automobiles Peugeot import business in Latvia after Peugeot earlier this month ended its contract with the previous Latvian importer, AS Lauva, Ward’s AutoWorld reported.
Peugeot sold 203 cars in Latvia last year, down 65.7% from 2007, for a 1.1% share of the market and No.23 sales position. The brand also sold 80 light-commercial vehicles in the country, the report said.
