Skoda wire harness supplier Commercial Vehicle Group has inked a new deal to provide the Volkswagen Czech Republic unit with auxiliary wire harnesses.
The harnesses, to be made in in Liberec, Czech Republic and Kamyanets-Podilsky, will be used in the doors, seats, bumpers and parking sensors of two of Skoda’s future car lines.
CVG currently supplies similar products for Skoda’s Yeti and Superb.
Production of the new parts is set to begin in 2012. CVG currently estimates the annualized revenue resulting from this new business award will be in the range of EUR10-12m.
