The plant is the main extrusions supplier for Constellium’s Automotive Structures business in Europe, with dedicated presses to produce the aluminium profiles used to manufacture Crash Management Systems, Side Impact Beams and structural components.

It also makes large profile extrusions for rail, power rail and bus applications, as well as other transportation and industry markets.

Beyond extremely large and wide sections, Constellium Singen is the only extrusion plant in the world to produce aluminium/steel co-extrusions for energy power supply to metro power rail systems.

With cold mills and an integrated hot/cold rolling line, Constellium Singen is also a provider of Automotive Body Sheet and other customised rolled products.

The plant produces aluminium sheets and coils with functional surfaces for a range of applications, from architectural and interior design to vehicle decoration and cosmetic packaging.

In addition, the facility is able to produce very thin material for closures and flexible packaging markets.
