Nissan has announced at the Guangzhou auto show in China that it plans to launch “at least” two new energy vehicle (NEV) models per year from 2023 under its Venucia brand, as it steps up its global electrification strategy. The auto exhibition runs between 30th December until 8th January, after it was rescheduled due to the recent Covid outbreak.

The Venucia brand was established back in 2010 by Dongfeng Nissan Company, Nissan’s joint venture with Dongfeng Motors based in Wuhan in China’s Hubei province.
