For the first nine months of the year, vehicle sales were down 22% to 128,935 units.
General Motors, as usual, was the top seller, shifting 5,101 units of its Chevrolet brand, down from 6,650 in September 2008.
Renault was number two, selling 2,654 units, a rise on the 2,608 vehicles it sold in September 2008.
As reported by just-auto in July, Colombian car sales in the first six months of 2009 fell 22.4%.
