Visteon says EVP and CFO, Christian Garcia, has resigned from the company to accept another position based in Houston.

Garcia will continue in his current position to 31 October 2019, to ensure a smooth transition for the company.

Visteon’s board of directors has unanimously approved the appointment of William Robertson, former VP and treasurer of the supplier, as interim CFO during the search for a permanent replacement.

“On behalf of the board and executive team, I would like to thank Christian for his dedicated service and partnership over the last three years at Visteon,” said Visteon president and CEO, Sachin Lawande.

“He has been a valuable contributor to the Visteon management team and we all wish him well in his future endeavours.”

“I would also like to welcome Bill back to Visteon in this interim role as the company searches for a permanent replacement.”
