Volkswagen AG is improving its edge in the Chinese automobile market by manufacturing a more diverse and modern range of products here.
This will serve as the core of Volkswagen’s strategy prior to China’s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), said Zhang Suixin, deputy general manager of the Volkswagen (China) Investment Company Ltd.

Volkswagen will offer the Bora, a new model in its sedan series, to be manufactured next year by its joint-venture company in this capital city of northeast China’s Jilin Province. The Bora will replace the Jetta, a Changchun-produced Volkswagen model which has been popular in recent years in China.
