The FAW-Toyota joint venture in China reportedly has trimmed its annual sales target by 6% to 620,000 units after demand this year was less than anticipated.
Year to date sales by the JV rose 8% to 342,900 by the end of August but that growth was less than the Chinese market gained overall, the Wall Street Journal reported.
