CHINA: Toyota Boshoku starts Corolla interior parts supply
Toyota Boshoku's Chinese joint venture recently started production of seats and other interior components for the Toyota Corolla built at JV Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor's (SFTM) newly commissioned west plant in Changchun, China.
Toyota Boshoku’s Chinese joint venture recently started production of seats and other interior components for the Toyota Corolla built at JV Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor’s (SFTM) newly commissioned west plant in Changchun, China.
The parts are made by Changchun Faway Toyota Boshoku Auto Parts Company, the JV with Changchun FAWAY Automobile Components.
The plant also produces door trim, carpets and luggage area trim.
The group also makes seats for the Toyota Land Cruiser and Prius at Tianjin Intex Auto Parts in Changchun. Those vehicles are built at SFTM’s older east plant.
