Tesla’s Model S, recently launched in China, does not feature a navigation system, Ubergizmo.com said.
The reason is the EV’s navigation system relies on Google Maps which is not available in China.
The company is developing a China-specific system that is expected to be launched later in 2014. This system will feature Chinese-language text and voice recognition.
