Schaeffler Asia is adding 1,500 employees to its workforce in China this year.
“We are already in the process of expanding and developing further production capacity”, said CEO Wolfgang Dangel, as the supplier detailed its display at the forthcoming Shanghai motor show which runs from 19 to 28 April. “As a result, we will be appointing 1,500 new employees this year.”

Schaeffler opened its first branch in Hong Kong over 20 years ago and has operated production plants in China since 1998. Today, it has five factories there plus a research and development centre.
