SAIC has exported a first batch of 756 Chevrolet Sail 3 sedans from China to Chile and Peru.
The predecessor second generation Sail was China’s most popular export car with 230,000 shipped. SAIC-GM is adding new markets in South America, Africa and Asia.
Equipment includes a standard start-stop system and electric power steering.
