Qoros Automotive has announced the appointment of Phil Murtaugh as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Murtaugh is well known in Chinese auto industry circles, following nearly 16 years as head of GM’s China operations as well as leading SAIC Motors’ international operations and a spell as CEO of the Asian Operation for Chrysler Group.

Qoros – a premium car brand – is a joint venture between Chery Automobile and Israel Corporation based in Shanghai with a factory in Changsu.
