The price war in the car market has escalated with the announcement of new price cuts by domestic car makers.
Tianjin Xiali Automobile Co Ltd reduced the price of two of its Xiali models by about 8,000 yuan (US$965) on August 26. The two models both come with electric fuel injection engines.
