Lincoln celebrated its official arrival in China at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, launching the MKC and MKZ.
“Today is a significant step forward for Ford Motor, for the Lincoln brand and for our business in China – with the MKZ and MKC, we now will begin serving luxury customers in China,” said John Lawler, chairman and CEO, Ford China.

The first showrooms will open on 6 November in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and there are plans to open five more by the end of the year, and to open 60 in 50 cities by 2016.
The MKZ, a mid-size sedan has available features including a retractable panoramic roof and will be sold in China in three versions priced from CNY315,800 (US$51,438) to CNY395,800.
The MKC, a small, premium utility vehicle entering one of China’s fastest growing segments, is available in four models starting at CNY339,800 through to CNY438,800. It is also available with both all-wheel drive and front wheel drive.
The MKZ and MKC are the first two of the five new vehicles that Lincoln will bring to China by 2016. Next will be the MKX, a full-size sedan and the Navigator large SUV.
Concurrently, the company is launching Lincoln Automotive Financial Services to support dealers and buyers in China.
