Nissan Motor’s luxury division Infiniti posted a 60% increase to 19,075 units in 2011 sales in China, making it the company’s second largest market for two consecutive years, reported China Daily.
The company had earlier announced plans to increase sales by 50% to 30,000 units along with the addition of 30 new dealerships in 2012. The company currently has 60 dealerships in China.

Infiniti’s product range in China includes the EX, M, QX, FX and G Series.
In November 2011, the company had announced plans of relocating its global headquarters to Hong Kong from Japan; however it denies reaching a final decision on plans of local production. Dalian city officials confirmed the plan, saying that local production would begin from 2014.
