Honda
is to starting assembly of the 3.0 litre V6 Accord at the Guangzhou Honda Automobile
plant.

The company currently produces three versions of the Accord in China where
production in 2000 reached 32,000 last year.

Honda has a six percent share of the Chinese passenger car market but holds
a 29 percent share of the segement for vehicles with engines over two litres.
