Honda Motor China car sales through two joint ventures soared 54.7% year on year last month to 57,227 units, the company said on Thursday.
Guangzhou Honda volume was up 55.8% to 36,333 units and Dongfeng Honda sales rose 52.8% to 20,894.
Total Honda sales were up 20.6% to 517,221 cars year to date.
