Hitachi Automotive Systems said it had started to supply Nissan Motor with the high-output lithium-ion battery pack used in the Murano Hybrid launched in August in China.
The pack comprises a battery module that contains the cylindrical battery cells and a battery management system in a single housing. The cells are manufactured by Hitachi Vehicle Energy.
