Hella has acquired all the shares of its previous Relay Joint Venture Hella Hongfa (Xiamen) Automotive Electronics Co. Ltd. (HAE) in China.
 
Hella KGaA has taken over the remaining 30% in Hella Hongfa (Xiamen) China from its former partner Xiamen Hongfa Electroacoustic Co. Ltd in order to boost ongoing strategic alignment and accelerate operational benefits. HAE will now become a 100% subsidiary of the Hella Group.
 
HAE was established in 2003 as a Joint Venture, and specialises in the development and production of relays for the automotive industry and generates a turnover of EUR13m with 220 employees.
