SUVs, including models sold under joint-venture partner Honda's brand, achieved the sharpest sales growth, rising 150% to 41,246. However, sedans continued to struggle, as sales shrank 19% to 63,430.
Guangzhou reduced September production volume 6.8% from a year earlier to 99,706 units.
