CHINA: GM to build Corsa-type compact car in China from Dec
General Motors Corp said it will start making a new compact car for the Chinese market, the Wall Street Journal Online reported. Priced at around 12,000 usd, the new midsize Buick Sail is based on GM's Opel Corsa and produced with its joint-venture partner, Shanghai Auto Industrial Corp. The first Buick Sail will roll off the line in December, with deliveries starting early next year.
