Ford, which has just opened its sixth assembly plant in China with local partner Changan Ford, increasing annual capacity by 250,000 vehicles, reportedly plans another.

Local reports said the automaker would spend CNY6.6bn (US$1.08bn) to purchase an existing car factory which Changan Ford Automobile would open in the second half of 2016 with capacity estimated at 200,000 units a year.
